About Us
Over 30% of the population is affected by tongue-related disorders, including dysphagia, sleep-disordered breathing, malocclusions, and temporomandibular disorders (TMD). In France alone, an estimated 4 million patients are treated for these conditions.
At Tongue-Tech, we focus on a critical area that most treatment protocols often overlook: providing reliable, objective data on tongue functions throughout a person’s lifespan.
We distribute and support JMS’s TPMD, a tongue pressure measurement device, collaborating with speech-language pathologists (SLPs), physiotherapists, orthodontists, dentists, and sleep specialists who require clear, shareable metrics to coordinate patient care.
Our goal is to make tongue pressure a standard clinical measurement for tongue-related disorders and to extend recognition and reimbursement across additional health
systems.
We are ambitious about developing a range of devices and technologies to provide a holistic view for optimizing the multidisciplinary management of patients suffering from these conditions.
